• BIBLE STUDIES
   
  • Ladies' Thursday Morning Bible Study 
    FALL MEETINGS BEGIN THURSDAY OCTOBER 7TH AT 09:00AM
    • The ladies meet every Thursday morning from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at the church.
    • There is a nursery available.
    • The new study will be "The Life of King David".
      • Using the book Anointed, Transformed, and Redeemed by Priscilla Shirer, Beth Moore, and Kay Aurthur.
    • There are no meetings on days when the Tunkhannock Area School District does not have school scheduled (including summer months) or on days when school is cancelled.
    • On days when the Tunkhannock Area School District has a two hour delay, the bible study will have a one-half hour delay - and will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the church.

  • Ladies' Thursday Evening Bible Study
    • The ladies meet every Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the church.
    • There is a nursery available.
      • Please note that at 5:30 P.M. dinner will be served.  We will be eating together with the men prior to breaking up for separate studies.
    • The new study will be "Hebrews".

  • Men's Thursday Evening Fellowship Group  
    • The men are also meeting every Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the church.
    • The same nursery service is available as for the Ladies.
    • Please join us for encouragement, prayer, and reflection on God's Word.
      • Please note that at 5:30 P.M. dinner will be served.  We will be eating together with the ladies prior to breaking up for separate studies.

  • Word of Life Club
    • For children from first through sixth grade
    • Meets Sundays from 5:15 pm to 6:45 pm
    • Activities include:
      • Bible study with some Scripture memory
      • Games
      • Snacks
      • Fun
      • Community Projects
         
  • Youth Group
    • For young people from seventh through twelfth grade
    • Meets Sundays from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm
    • Activities include:
      • Praise and Worship
      • Study Time
      • Game Time
      • Snacks
      • Outreach
      • Special Activities

• FELLOWSHIP DINNER
   
  • On the first Sunday of each month we have Communion during the morning service.  It is our custom to have a fellowship dinner immediately following this service - an informal time when we can all relax and get to know each other a little better.  Everyone is welcome to come and stay.  Many people bring food to share - such as a casserole, or a salad, or a dessert, but it is not required - and we always have plenty of food for all.  Please join us if you can.

• VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - was from July 27th to 31st, 2009
   
  • The Lord blessed us with a great turn-out.  We hope to do it again about the same time next year.
  • Our apologies.  Due to a staffing shortage,  Vacation Bible School during 2010 will be limited to one day only.  More information will be forthcoming.
  • The daily times were from 09:30 am until 12:00 noon - at the church on Rt. 92 South.
  • This year's theme was:  "POWER LAB - Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power".
  • Eligible Children's Age Group:  K to 6th grade (includes beginning K this Fall up to finishing 6th grade this June).
  • There was no babysitting for pre-K - EXCEPT for helpers.  See Jolie Bach if you wish to be a helper!!!
  • Yes, there was a signup sheet at the church - it helped us to plan.  Yes, people who decided, or learned of this, at the very last moment - even on Monday morning, July 27th - were more than welcome to come anyway.
